Why is this book out of print???????

It never ceases to amaze me how many great books go out of print. This is an excellent book on the basic theory of beams, columns, and cables. It focuses more on theory than on problem solving and is an excellent source of information needed for structural analysis. The only prerequisite material for this book is differential equations and basic strength of materials. The principle of virtual work is used extensively in this book.
